Meditation

The modern age is characterised by the hectic pace and demands of urban life which leaves many people stressed and over-worked. Often there is just not enough time in the day to get everything done. Stress and tiredness make us unhappy, impatient and frustrated. It affects our health and lead to modern day ailments like hypertension, diabetes, chronic fatigue. It is proven that meditation has immense effects upon the mind and the body. It helps reduce stress, normalise breathing, control hormone secretion.
Where do we find time to stop and meditate in our busy life? Meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused. A simple ten or fifteen minute breathing meditation can help you to overcome your stress and find some inner peace and balance.
Meditation can also help us to understand our own mind. We can learn how to transform our mind from negative to positive, from disturbed to peaceful, from unhappy to happy. Overcoming negative minds and cultivating constructive thoughts is the purpose of the transforming meditations found in the Buddhist tradition. This is a profound spiritual practice you can enjoy throughout the day, not just while seated in meditation.

Yoga
Yoga is the traditional physical and mental disciplines that originated in India. The word is associated with meditative practices in HinduismBuddhism and Jainism. Within Hinduism, it also refers to one of the six orthodox schools of Hindu philosophy, and to the goal towards which that school directs its practices. In Jainism, yoga is the sum total of all activities — mental, verbal and physical.
To the common man yoga is a system of exercises (asana). A series of different body postures - held for prescribed duration, synchronised with controlled breathing – is used to rejuvenate the body and heal diseases. Yoga exercises are excellent supplement to usual medical treatments in a number of ailments.

Buddhist Teaching

Tibetan Buddhism is the body of Buddhist religious doctrine and institutions that are practiced in Tibet and other regions of the Himalaya. Apart from Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan (where it is the state religion), Mongolia, Northern China and parts of Russia, this doctrine of Buddhism is practiced in Arunachal Pradesh, Ladhakh, Dharmashala, Lahul, Spiti, Sikkim and Darjeeling hills of India.
Though divided into a number of doctrines and schools of practices in Buddhism, the basic tenets are the same everywhere. A Tibetan Buddhist monk (most possibly from the Gelugpa school) will discuss the tenets of this philosophy to help the listeners move forward on the path of self realisation. The monk will be assisted by a translator (a practitioner of the same school) and a number of lower monks will facilitate the process of meditation (as and when necessary).

Aromatherapy Healing Sessions

Aromatherapy is the ancient science of healing, relaxing and energizing by the use of plants and their parts.
The roots, barks, flowers, fruits, seeds and nuts play a crucial part in this science. It is one of the more popular branches of alternative medicines. The word aromatherapy is derived from two words aroma which means smell and therapy which stands for healing.
The essential oils used in aromatherapy are the life force of the plants from which they have been extracted. These oils can be massaged on your body, inhaled, added to your bath or sprayed in the air. When you take "Aromatherapy massage" with the essential oils, these oils are absorbed into the bloodstream via the skin.
